Just some of the events that have been keeping us really busy the last couple of weeks. Three of the children performed in a piano party in preparation for the final formal recital in May.
Carleigh was in rehearsals and 4 performances of Firebird. She did a really lovely job as Princess Elena and the whole company performed well. Papa cried at the end. :)
The ballet also had a gala night in which the dancers performed and then mixed and mingled with the guests afterwards.
The weekend before were the closing ceremonies for our city's 100 birthday celebration. The company danced as part of the celebration. It was such a fun evening of great talent and great music. So much fun.
We also had soccer games in the midst of all this and we are still trying to deal with "STUFF" from rooms after painting and switching rooms. The room switch was worth all the effort though. The rooms look great and everyone is comfortable and happy. Now, what to store, what to give away and what to trash!
There is so much joy in watching the children express themselves in the things that they enjoy; being the expression of the Kingdom of Heaven wherever they are. I am so thankful that they have a great understanding of what that means. So thankful that their hearts are turned toward Him and as they grow in their understanding of themselves they are growing in the understanding of their places in the Kingdom. Thank you Father for your faithfulness.
